OUR STORY
I never dreamed of owning a ranch and becoming a farmer. As a little girl growing up in Alabama all I ever wanted to do was get the heck out of "the country!" ---Well, I suppose I did that in some ways, and went all the way to Saudi Arabia, that is another story for another day, lol. Needless to say, this country girl found her way and routes all the way in Texas and right back to where it all started. I live out in Granger with my mother, Ethel and my two amazing sons-Joshua and Kaleb. I have two grand-dogs; their names are Duke & Petey. We have a host of animals: Nigerian Pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, and the best tasting figs, pears, peaches, plums and pecans you can ever put in your mouth! Oh yeah, and did I mention a tank stocked full of bass, brim and crappie! So, if you are ever out this way or on the search for an amazing venue for your next special event, give us a call. We have all the nostalgia for your outdoor wedding or event with acres of venue for you to remain safe and socially distanced.

Welcome to Amaru Farms! My name is Ethel and I enjoy living out on the farm. As a child, I grew up around animals and loved them. I learned about farming from my elders and get to relive that all over again with my wonderful family.
